We opened our 15th school in the earthquake zone

In cooperation with the Ahbap Association and the Hugo Boss Foundation, the new building of Ali Sayar Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, which was severely damaged in the earthquake in Hatay, was opened.

We joined hands with the Hugo Boss Foundation to rebuild the Ali Sayar Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in Hatay's Antakya district, which was severely damaged in the earthquakes, and opened the new building of the school with the contributions of philanthropists. Located in Vali Ürgenpaşa Neighborhood, we built the new school building as a robust and modern structure with steel construction. It includes 16 classrooms, 4 laboratories and a textile workshop.

Harun Tuysuz, Hatay Provincial Director of National Education, was with us at the opening and stated that important projects are being realized with the cooperation of the state and philanthropists for schools damaged by earthquakes in the region. In Hatay, 110 schools have been completed so far, and work is continuing rapidly in 113 schools. As Ahbap, we have brought 13 schools to Hatay and we aim to increase this number.

He also said that together with Ahbap, they will allocate a budget for the construction of the new school and will continue to meet the needs of the school from 2025.

After the opening, we toured the school with the participants and shared the joy that our young people will receive education in a safer environment.
